It's Time to Mask Up and Help Keep Our Community Safe
Governor Tony Evers is requiring all Wisconsin residents to wear face masks while indoors or in enclosed spaces until the end of September. The  order issued Thursday, July 30th takes effect Saturday, August 1st. This order makes Wisconsin the 34th state to require face coverings — a tool health experts say can substantially reduce transmission of the coronavirus, which can cause serious illness and has no vaccine.

What does that mean for TOSA Pool and The Landing?

Wisconsin defines an "enclosed place" as a confined space open to the public where individuals congregate, including but not limited to outdoor bars, outdoor restaurants and outdoor park structures.

So, if you plan to visit TOSA Pool or The Landing, you'll need to remember your mask. Wearing a mask is now required at all times when visiting our pool or beer garden with only two exceptions.
When is it OK NOT to Wear a Mask at TOSA Pool or The Landing?
When you are swimming, you are not required to wear a mask. In fact, masks should not be worn in the water. Wet material can severely limit breathing and be dangerous.

When you are seated and eating or drinking, you are not required to wear a mask .
Thank you for helping us follow the guidance of the state of Wisconsin and helping to keep our community safe. If you forget your mask, one of our crew will politely remind you of the State requirement. We will have a small supply of masks available for use. If you are uncomfortable or are unable to wear a mask, we respectfully ask you to hold off on visiting us until the State mandate is lifted.
FOHPP: Who we are
The nonprofit  Friends of Hoyt Park & Pool, which operates TOSA Pool, The Landing and the Grand Hall, raised money to build the pool, which opened May 28, 2011.. FOHPP has a 55-year lease with Milwaukee County and does not receive taxpayer support. The pool is named in honor of the project's lead donor: The TOSA Foundation.
TOSA Pool at Hoyt Park offers affordable memberships for families and individuals with daily admission rates that welcome visitors from across Southeast Wisconsin. Our strong focus on health and wellness is enhanced by swim lessons for children and adult fitness classes provided by our partnership with Wauwatosa Recreation.
In 2013, the Friends of Hoyt Park & Pool opened a new seasonal beer garden,  The Landing at Hoyt Park to both create a supplementary revenue source for pool operations and to create a new space for fellowship that enriches the vibrancy of our community. People of all ages come together and build the relationships that make our neighborhoods strong.
In 2015, the historic  Grand Hall was renovated to preserve and build on its 1930s-era craftsmanship and extend The Landing beer garden usage. In addition to public gatherings, like Packers and Badgers viewing parties, the hall is available to rent for family celebrations, class reunions, birthday parties, business meetings, club banquets and weddings.
