Matching Grants Available to Help Foster Talent & Build Capacity in
Southwest Florida's Nonprofit Sector
At the Cape Foundation, we ensure our grantees have an organizational strategy that includes a
REVENUE STRATEGY!
On average, nonprofits devote about 2% of their annual budgets to professional development.

Nonprofits, like any business, face a slew of challenges but one stands out about the rest:

NONPROFITS STRUGGLE TO GET BY BECAUSE THEY INVEST MONEY IN PROGRAMS BUT NOT ENOUGH MONEY IN GENERATING REVENUE.

This matching grant opportunity allows nonprofit organizations, along with their staff, board of directors and volunteers to take advantage of training, staff development and networking opportunities available through the Cape Coral Community Foundation's Nonprofit Member Program for an entire year.

Training & Networking Opportunities Include:

Finance, HR, Operations & Management
Program Development
Fundraising Courses
Volunteer Management
Leadership Development

If you are already a nonprofit member, you may still apply.

In order to qualify your organization must meet the following requirements:

  1. Be affiliated with, or represent an organization that has 501(c)(3) status.
  2. Must be located in Southwest Florida.
