Process Begins to Tweak Minnesota's Licensure Compact Law
Legislation designed to bring Minnesota into federal compliance with its Interstate Medical Licensure Compact law was heard in the House Health and Human Services Reform Committee on Jan. 31. U of M Seeks Excellence in Education Nominations
The University of Minnesota Medical School is accepting nominations for three awards that will be announced at the inaugural Dean's Tribute to Excellence in Education event on May 3. For consideration: the Distinguished Mentoring Award, the Exceptional Affiliate Faculty Teaching Award and the Exceptional Primary Care Community Faculty Teaching Award, co-sponsored by the MMA. The nomination deadline for all three awards is Feb. 15.
