On May 19th, the New Mexico Environment Department (NMED) released a Request for Information (RFI) soliciting pertinent information on the disposal and or destruction of per-and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) across various forms, sectors, and media, as well as data specific to individual PFAS compounds and to classes of PFAS.

NMED is seeking data, reports, narratives, or other information from the public, scientific/research community, private sector, academia, government agencies, and non-governmental agencies on scientific and technical knowledge related to studies, technology testing, active research projects, and policy factors.
