Hello beloved community, this has been some year! Below is an announcement of the ending of the Search Committee's work.

Let me say that the Search committee's enthusiasm is contagious. They are excited to have two incredible people who wish to work together and with us. The Board of Trustees are also greatly looking forward to getting to know them soon.

On Thursday June 19th, the UUCSR Board of Trustees, in executive session, voted unanimously to accept the recommendations of the Search Committee. We agreed to hire, pending successful contract negotiations, two part time contractual ministers who will together to fill one full time equivalent ministerial position..

These two wonderful and talented people are:

- Reverend Amy Zucker Morgenstern, who is currently full time minister at the Palo Alto UU church. She is retiring from full time ministry after her 22 years there.

- Reverend Dr. Tovis Page who is most recently the transitional and pastoral care minister at UUs of San Mateo.

We do understand that you all will have many questions. We do as well. It will be different having two ministers fill the one position we have. We ask for a little patience and let the deliberate negotiating and contract creation process move forward. We will keep you informed as we are able when dealing with HR matters.

More details to come out as we know them. There will be updates at the Board meeting on 7/8, and as contract negotiations conclude in the coming weeks.

The Search committee and the Board are both very positive about our future and the future of our ministry. We think you all will be too.
