4-8-2 Light Mountain Locomotive
DCC Econami™ Sound Value Equipped
The USRA Light Mountain was the standard road freight locomotive manufactured under the United States Railroad Administration during World War 1. The Bachmann USRA 4-8-2 replicates the details of this popular early 20th-century design while providing the user with a 21st-century DCC Sound Value system. The model features separately applied details including a bell, whistle, pop valves, and handrails, while the Soundtraxx® Econami™ steam package comes factory-installed offering a selection of 16 whistles, multiple variations of 6 bell types, 4 prototypical chuffs, 5 air pumps, and 4 dynamos plus cylinder cocks, grade crossing signal, blowdown, brake squeal/release, coupling/uncoupling, water stop, and "All aboard"/coach doors—all in 16-bit polyphonic sound. New York, Ontario & Western, and Frisco are the latest schemes to join the line.
