NISOD Liaison Elizabeth Holmes is the Coordinator for The Center for Excellence in Teaching and Learning and Professor of English and Transitional Studies at Harford Community College.


Elizabeth is also a 2010 NISOD Excellence Award recipient. "To win an Excellence Award, I felt valued, I felt seen, I felt appreciated. Now, as the coordinator of the Excellence Awards on our campus, I know how proud our faculty and staff are when they receive it...They feel very much a contributor to the academic community."
