Olson named 2021 ND SBDC State Star
Williston Economic Develop ment - Keith Olson, Regional Director of the North Dakota Small Business Development Centers (SBDC), has been named the organization’s 2021 State Star. Olson, age 55, has been with the Williston State College SBDC office for the past 19 years. He spreads his time between offices in Williston and Watford City where he helps new and existing business owners with all facets of owning and operating businesses such as business plans, cash flows, loan preparations, research and more. Skylaa Nail Bar celebrates Ribbon Cutting in Williston
Williston Economic Development - The Williston Area Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors helped Skylaa Nail Bar celebrate their grand opening with a ribbon cutting ceremony on September 8. Skylaa offers a variety of cosmetic services for both men and women including manicures, pedicures, nail enhancements, waxing and much more. Skylaa Nail Bar is located at 124 51st St. (north of Walmart).

Norseman Museum to celebrate Grand Opening September 10 in Tioga
Roundup - The Norseman Museum, previously located at the old First Lutheran Church, Tioga, recently moved to a new location at 108 Welo St. To celebrate this, there will be a grand opening for the building on Friday, Sept. 10 starting at 11:30 a.m. CT, followed by a free barbecue and entertainment and door prizes from 4-6 p.m. The Norseman Museum is a curator and historian of Tioga, ND. XWA Air Show September 11 at Overland Aviation
Williston Economic Development - The Williston Basin International Airport will host its first air show on Saturday, September 11 at the Overland Aviation tarmac. Gates will open at 7 a.m. with a free pancake breakfast from the Lions Club and Meg-A-Latte. There will also be airplane rides from Overland Aviation ($25 per person), kids activities and aircraft displays. The aerobatics air show will begin at 10 a.m.! Limited seating will be available. Bring a lawn chair or blanket and enjoy the show!

Ne ws Release - The City of Williston’s fall Clean Williston event is scheduled for Saturday, September 25, 2021 from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. In the event of inclement weather, Clean Williston will be held on Saturday, October 2, and this change will be announced on City of Williston social media and www.cityofwilliston.com.
