Denver Parks & Recreation | January 2025

Hey Denver! It’s the start of a new year and there's exciting changes in the air. Speaking of, did you notice our new name? 👀 Your name suggestions for our new podcast inspired us to change up the newsletter. Nature’s Calling floated to the top, but didn’t quite make a splash. You don’t need this newsletter to enjoy Denver’s amazing parks and recreation system, but it sure does help! Your Denver Playbook is the ultimate guide to Denver Parks & Recreation.

It's In Denver's Nature Returns

DPR works alongside city agencies, nonprofits, and residents to combat climate change by bringing nature back to Denver’s city core. When we plant trees to cool the city, they also help clean the air we breathe. And who doesn't love trees? To kick off the year, you can expect to learn more about It’s In Denver’s Nature and the work we are doing to create a better world.

What’s all the buzz about? 🐝

We’ve been covering It’s In Denver’s Nature content for quite some time now, but never like this. Get ready to dive deep and become an expert on the city’s fight against climate change. For the next few months, we will highlight: Landscape Transformation, Water Conservation, Habitat Protection, Urban Forest, and Environmental Stewardship.
