AUGUST NEWSLETTER
DEBUT OF THE 427 NOMAD FE
Welcome to our August update! Kicking it off with details on our new 427 Nomad FE. Fresh off its debut and extensive sea trials at last month’s Intrepid Nation Rendezvous in the Florida Keys, this exciting new center console will soon be back at our Dania Harbour Towne Marina Sales Center and ready for you to sea trial with a triple set of Mercury’s incredible new 600hp v12s, a powerful, yet exceptionally quiet new motor that we are absolutely stoked to be offering on more of our models going forward.

I also share a sneak preview of a one-of-a-kind feature being integrated into a customer’s new 477 Evolution – as only Intrepid would do it! Check it out along with our best wishes for a safe and enjoyable Labor Day weekend of boating in the brief video below.
MARKET REPORT
INTREPID HEADS TO NEW ENGLAND
Joe Brenna and I are just back from a recent trip to premier boating destinations in the Northeast U.S., where we first visited Hyannis Marina, gateway to the legendary waters of Cape Cod, Nantucket, and Martha’s Vineyard on the Massachusetts coast. See more on our great relationship with this flagship facility from Joe Brenna below.

From Hyannis, we swung over to Newport, Rhode Island to start getting things prepped and ready to showcase our latest model lineup at the exciting Newport International Boat Show coming up September 16-19, 2021.
It’s the prestigious Newport show’s 50th Anniversary this year and they’ll be celebrating in style, so make plans now to join us. Tickets and information are available here.
The Market Stays Hot, Hot, Hot!

Finally, we are extremely grateful to our ever-expanding family of Intrepid Nation owners for continuing to keep our new boat sales going at a truly unbelievable pace over the last five months and counting!

You are loving our new lineup of innovative Intrepid models, and we are loving the chance to individually customize each and every one of them for you. One of a kind. One a time.

THE CAPTAIN'S CORNER
Florida residents can enjoy year-round time on the water. As a native of the Northeast though, I remember what it’s like to have just a few months of suitable weather for boating. The summer months are precious so it’s important that all systems are go on your boat. We have a vast network of tradespeople and boat yards who can help you have an uninterrupted season on the water, so please contact us if you have a need for work to be done on your Intrepid.
Cape Cod is central to lots of summer cruising grounds in the Northeast, so I am happy that we have our friends at Hyannis Marina to give us support. Their team has been a great help over the years.
They have a full-service boat yard in the town of Hyannis and are our New England sales partner. I visited their marina this month while they hosted an Intrepid Open House, and look forward to working at the Newport, Rhode Island Boat Show with them next month.

One of the signature features of our boats is our hullside door. We began to install these in the mid 1990s. It has gone through some changes over the years and is now a standard on new models that we are building. These doors offer easy access to docks and work in concert with ladders that provide easy entry back into the boat from the water. The links below from one of our video owner’s manuals explain the features and operation of the doors and ladders that we are now installing.
As always, you can contact me directly with any questions or concerns you may have about your Intrepid. Don’t forget to visit our Intrepid Gear Shop for a great selection of clothing and accessories to complement your custom boat.
