The Peaceful Caregiver

MasterClasses

Caring for your spouse, child or aging parent is a beautiful thing. Yet caring for others, even people we love, can be one of life’s most confusing and draining experiences. Why?

Caring for our daughter with special needs for the last 31 years (as well as my mother-in-law through cancer and dementia) has opened my eyes and my heart to many of the reasons why caring brought out the worst in me. So many nights, out of shear frustration and heartache I would cry out, “Why is this so hard? There has GOT to be a better way.” Over the years I’ve learned that there is, indeed, a better way – to see, to care, to love.

In my first book, The Heart of the Caregiver® I share The Five Steps to Transformation, the steps I went through to gain a whole new perspective on my caregiving journey.

In the second book, The Peaceful Caregiver™, I share The Five Steps on The Path to Peace – simple truths and steps that have calmed my heart and enabled me to love and serve daily from a place of peace.

I invite you to join me this fall in an online MasterClass. I will personally be leading a small group of caregivers through The Peaceful Caregiver, chapter by chapter. We will meet for an hour each week for 9 weeks online. You will be able to ask questions and engage in meaningful discussions and fellowship with people who understand the difficult emotions and responsibilities of caregiving.

The sessions will NOT be recorded, but as part of this MasterClass, you will have access to teaching videos I’ve created just for you, to be able to stay on track with the Masterclass, even if you miss a session.

Together, we will discover:

Peace is possible regardless of your circumstances, because;

Peace is a gift God freely gives, but;

Peace is a choice.

Testimonials:

Your group has changed my life. This has been a hard year for me. In the group, I heard words of hope and coping methods from caregivers in the most difficult of circumstances; Biblical words of reassurance and strength from God. These folks know what I've gone through: the emotional pain, hard physical duties; the emotional and physical toll. They KNEW AND UNDERSTOOD, AS YOU DID.

Thank you!

B. C.

What your group did for me and my family was beyond words. It literally felt like a scale was removed from my eyes. It was like the Holy Spirit was just showing me our boys for the 1st In a new light and it was beautiful! I had my husband sit down and watch it with me again and his reaction was a confirmation of what I experienced. I could see the same filter being removed from his eyes. He cried just like me! The realness of your lives is a gift from God to many of us.

Thank you! From the bottom of our hearts...thank you!!! Having 2 boys with special needs makes us a bit bitter and we lose focus of what the Lord is really trying to show us. The blessing in the brokenness. That wrecked us!

Thank you

Jessica G.
