Choirs and orchestras are traveling soon to New York City, Orlando, and Anaheim for performances and workshops this spring. We need to fund scholarships for several students this spring. Please donate and help students make these trips possible.

Spaghetti Dinner Thank You:
Georgette Semroc, Nora Paille, and Erika Liska: you throw a great 90's spaghetti party. Thank you especially for your leadership and elbow grease for this fundraiser. Thank you to all the volunteers, performers, and spaghetti eaters. It was a great night.

Solo + Ensemble
Congratulations to all Ballard Music Students who participated in last weekend's Regional Solo and Ensemble Festival. With 75 entires, Ballard had the highest participation of any school in the region. We are proud of the hard work and artistry that went into all of these performances. In addition, 9 soloists and 6 ensembles won their categories and will advance to the State Competition this April.

Final payment for NY is $475 for students. Look for the update on the payment site HERE

Mandatory trip meeting for students and chaperones is March 31st at 7 p.m. 

Tickets to the Carnegie concert, will be available  beginning February 9th  on the Carnegie Hall website .

Orchestra
Congratulations : The Ballard HS Fiddlers were just awarded a $2000 grant from the International Bluegrass Music Association. For more click HERE .

NW Regional Orchestra Festival:
DATE:   Wednesday, February 5th, 2020
WHERE:  BHS gym
TIME:  Concert starts at 7:00 p.m.
CALL TIME: 6 p.m. call time for performers

This concert will feature musicians from elementary, middle, and high school and will culminate in a combined piece involving all students.
