PCSS Releasing Series of Inspirational and Educational Videos

Decreasing stigma involving addiction begins with the medical profession

PCSS, in collaboration with Columbia University, has produced a series of inspirational and educational videos. The videos are geared to the medical professional who is treating or plans to treat patients with substance use disorders.

Twice a week, PCSS will release a new video, so stay tuned! In this week's video, Dr. Ayana Jordan, a PCSS clinical expert, discusses the need for the medical profession to reduce stigma associated with treating patients with opioid use disorder.

CDC Launches New Website for

Understanding the Effects of Alcohol on Health

The CDC launched an online alcohol portal to help consumers better navigate alcohol information. The new portal gives consumers 24/7 access to all of CDC’s alcohol prevention related information and highlights CDC’s key program areas including excessive drinking, impaired driving, underage drinking, and fetal alcohol spectrum disorders.
