The Preferred Diabetes Care Program is an auto-substitution program that automates these savings on the most in-demand products (including pen needles and lancets). By substituting with Owen Mumford’s premium quality products, your pharmacy will save up to 90% every day on these essentials, similar to the ease and benefits you experience in a generic drug program. Enrollment & Savings Are Automatic You are automatically enrolled in this program and no further action is required for you to take advantage of these great product savings. Only products that are truly equivalent in specifications and offer cost savings to your pharmacy are included in this program. As your volume on these products increases, you also have an opportunity to increase your member rebates. The substitution table is now in effect. What if a Patient Doesn’t Want Product Substitution? No problem. The Preferred Diabetes Care Program works similar to a generic drug program. For patients who desire a specific brand of product, overriding the substitution is easy.
