Marine Bank Expands
Residential Lending Team

Marine Bank & Trust has announced that Stephen D. Shields has joined the 20-year-old bank as Senior Vice President, Residential Lending Manager. Shields is a long time Vero Beach resident with more than 20 years of residential lending experience. He is responsible for ensuring an exceptional experience for all mortgage loan customers while raising awareness of the Bank's lending capabilities in Indian River County.

Strong Earnings and Asset Growth
for First Quarter of 2017

Marine Bank & Trust has announced strong earnings and asset growth for the first three months of 2017. The Bank has experienced asset growth year over year with $216 million in total assets as of March 31, 2017, compared to $206 million as of March 31, 2016, equating to a 4.9% growth rate.

Georgia Irish and the
Healthy Start Coalition of IRC

On May 13 th, Marine Bank's Georgia Irish participated in the 9 th Annual Dancing with Vero's Stars, a fundraiser for the Indian River County Healthy Start Coalition.

Georgia and her professional dance partner Joe Wynes, who were named second runners up, were one of 10 couples competing for the coveted mirrored ball trophy. The couples' scores were based on their dancing ability as well as their fundraising efforts which total an estimated $292,000. Donations will benefit the Healthy Start Coalition's mission to develop and support a local system of care to optimize the health of moms, babies and their families living in Indian River County.
Marine Bank and Team Marine fully supported Georgia's fundraising efforts through candy sales, car washes, a silent auction and several special events which are expected to generate more than $30,000. "I am so fortunate and grateful to have the support of Marine Bank, Team Marine and our wonderful Vero and Sebastian customers. I couldn't have done it without them," said Georgia.
