Nominate a Graduate of Distinction

Do you know an outstanding ESF alum who deserves to be recognized for their achievements? Nominate them for a Graduate of Distinction Award!

The ESF Alumni Association is currently seeking nominations for the 2024 Graduates of Distinction awards in three categories: Lifetime Achievement, Notable Achievement, and "Incipiens Quercu.” Nominations can be submitted by anyone — a friend, family-member, colleague, etc. Alumni can also self-nominate.

The deadline is June 30, 2024. 

Get Your Passport at ESF

As of May 7, 2025, all domestic air travelers will be required to have a form of Real ID. A passport is the perfect solution.

Avoid the rush and apply this summer. Please email passport@esf.edu or call Nan Clark at (315) 470-6726 for information and an appointment.

Attend a Chestnut Annual Meeting

The joint annual conference/meeting of the Northern Nut Growers Association and Chestnut Growers of America, co-hosted by ESF, is coming up next month.

July 21-24 I The Collegian Hotel and Suites, Syracuse

The conference will include a show-and-tell session, two all-day technical sessions, and field tours to multiple sites along with a welcome dinner, auction, and social/banquet. Research from the American Chestnut Research & Restoration Project will be featured in presentations and tours.
