Last week was a week of action to call on Governor Newsom and the California Legislature to allocate $105 million in the state budget to address alarming increases in overdose deaths, STIs, and ongoing high transmission rates of HIV and viral hepatitis. CAPTC participated through legislative visits with key officials and through amplifying messaging on social media.
