We are thrilled to welcome Liz Sara as the new President of The SCORE Foundation!
As you know, The SCORE Foundation is the philanthropic arm of SCORE, funding many of our programs such as SCORE for All and the Small Business Resilience hub.
Liz served as the first female Chair of the Dingman Center of Entrepreneurship from 2016-2018. In July 2018, she was appointed by the President as the Chair of the National Women's Business Council, a federal agency that advocates for female founders. She has been an Adjunct Marketing Professor at the Smith School of Business and past Entrepreneur-in-Residence.
In 2001, she founded Best Marketing, LLC to provide emerging and growth stage software companies with strategic marketing, PR and business development services. More than 100 companies have benefited from her experience in growing revenue, gaining market adoption and become successful.
Previously, she co-founded SpaceWorks, an eCommerce software company which grew to nearly $25 million in revenue in three years.
Liz holds an M.A.. She is a frequent speaker and author on topics related to business, marketing and angel investing. She holds several Advisory Board positions at organizations supporting entrepreneurship and women business owners.
