Greetings,

Next week is officially ABA Pro Bono Week! PLC will hold all of our regularly scheduled clinics during the week, plus we have some other special events planned. We are coordinating a special immigration legal clinic for clients who qualify for U-Visas and our Community Organizations project has three  nonprofit and small business workshops  planned for the upcoming two weeks as well:
  • Childcare Provider Workshop,
    Thursday, October 25, 2018
  • Starting a Nonprofit: Is it right for you?,
    Monday, October 29, 2018
  • Fundraising and the Law
    Tuesday, October 30, 2018
If you have potential clients who would benefit for any of those workshops, please reach out to  Sarah Efthymiou so that we may get them scheduled.

Finally, pro bono week culminates on Friday, October 26, 2018 at Fete the Venue in Costa Mesa, at the PLC Advocates and the Lavender Bar Association's  Halloween Bash. If you have not yet purchased tickets, get them now and make sure you have a costume ready! We look forward to celebrating everyone's pro bono efforts (and amazing costumes)!!!
