Are your older students getting caught up in arguments and negativity? Imagination Theater's newest program, Clearing the Air: Skills for Conflict Resolution, can help! Conflict is a part of life, but it can be tough for kids (and even adults) to navigate. In Clearing the Air, students in grades 6-12 learn how to avoid unnecessary conflict and peacefully resolve any conflicts that do arise.
Through Imagination Theater's signature blend of participatory theater, facilitated discussion, and role-play, students are introduced to the concepts of Empathy, Accountability, and Reconciliation (EAR) and how to apply them to conflicts at school and at home. From exclusionary friend groups to disagreements with parents, students are encouraged to think of respectful ways to confront the situation and move forward.
To give it extra relevance, Imagination Theater worked with a group of 7th graders to create this new program from the ground up!
