Supporting the Trans Community in India

The Center has recently committed funding to the Snegidhan and Snegidhi transgender shelter in Chennai. The shelter provides accommodation and care for approximately 25 people, including nine who are HIV positive.

In addition to counseling and care, the shelter supports income generating projects for the on-going needs of its residents. Lend a helping hand to this vulnerable community today!

Enhancing Well-being and Health Outcomes for those Aging and HIV-positive

According to the National Council on Aging, evidence-based programs can help adults aging with HIV by addressing barriers and needs. It is with that understanding that we are proud to support the launch of a six-month program in Kolkata, India for aging people living with HIV.

Program objectives include mental and emotional support, health and well-being, and social protection. The program is set to launch in September, 2025.

Mid-Year Report

The Center recently conducted several Zoom calls to share updates on our various programs of health and hope with donors and volunteers.
