Good Catch Winner of the Month!
Greg Hale exemplified industry-leading safe driving skills during a close call on the road while driving to New Hampshire recently.
Greg was driving on I-89 South to deliver a load of tailings to Nottingham, NH, when he hit a patch of black ice. The truck, with a loaded flowboy trailer attached, began to fishtail. He was able to regain control of the truck, and maintain his lane of travel.
Greg slowed the truck down and came to a stop on the side of the highway to gather his composure and check the condition of the road more closely. He described the pavement as so slick he could slide his boot across the top. Greg continued on slowly, and as the temperature rose, the roads got better.

Check out the (soundless) video below to see the close call:

Getting the most out of your healthcare plan
Your healthcare plan includes preventive care services, many that are covered at 100%!
Preventive healthcare at Casella Construction is about taking a proactive approach to good health habits by seeking medical services before you actually need them.
Preventive care is "routine" healthcare that includes screenings, check-ups, and patient counseling to prevent illnesses, disease, or other health problems.
We should all consider preventive healthcare for two main reasons:
- Protection from disease
- Identification of health problems early, when they are easier to treat
For more information about how you can schedule preventive care in 2023, please contact the Human Resources Department:
