From: The Student Academic and Financial Services Offices
Over the last several months, we have been working with the JWU Information Technology team on upgrading various self-service pages that students access via jwuLink. This work has resulted in new, more user-friendly personal information, financial aid, tuition invoice, and other self-service pages. Thank you for your patience and understanding as we finish system upgrades.

This morning, we implemented a new page for managing parent/family proxy access. As a reminder, a proxy is someone you authorize to access/view portions of your academic, financial, and personal information. Because the old page has expired, you must update your existing proxy authorizations.
As soon as possible, select which pages your listed parent or family proxies can view. Any previous permissions no longer exist. Your proxies will be unable to see your info until you complete this important task.
Please follow these easy step-by-step instructions:

  1. Go to the Parent/Family Proxy Access page in jwuLink
  2. Select the Proxy Management link
  3. Select the edit button for each listed name
  4. Under Authorizations, select which pages can be viewed by the proxy
  5. Click/tap the Submit button when done
For each listed name, click the edit button.
  • Use the delete button to remove a proxy.
  • Use the "add new" link to create a new proxy.
If your proxy forgot their password and cannot reset it on their own, use the "Reset Password" link.
  • Password reset instructions will be sent to your proxy's email address.
  • As a reminder, you can set specific start and end dates for a proxy.
Enter or update your Passphrase under the Additional Information area.
  • Passphrase is a private word or words the proxy must provide when speaking with SAS or SFS in order for detailed information to be released.
  • Use the "E-mail Passphrase" link to send the passphrase to the proxy (so they know what it is).
Check the "Select All" box to authorize access to all pages.
  • Or, check one or more box to a specific page(s).
  • When done making changes, click/tap the Submit button.
  • After submitting, use the "E-mail Authorizations" link, which will send an email to the proxy that outlines what pages they can see.
Note: Screen samples may vary depending on your browser, especially if you're using a mobile device. It may be easier to use a desktop/laptop device to manage your proxies.
