"Raise the Age Law" Information from the NYPD

The following NYPD video explains the updated "Raise the Age law" legislation under which minors will now longer be treated as adults. Lighthouse Guild Wellness Fair

Join community members at the Lighthouse Guild Wellness Fair on Sunday, October 21 from 12:00pm to 3:00pm at 80 West End Avenue (at 63rd Street). National Guard Citizen Preparedness Training

There will be a National Guard Citizen Preparedness Training on Saturday, October 13 from 3:30pm to 5:00pm at the LDS Church at 125 Columbus Ave (at 65th Street). This training session is meant to teach residents the tools and resources to prepare for any type of disaster, respond accordingly and recover as quickly as possible to pre-disaster conditions. Interested parties must sign up here to attend: https://prepare.ny.gov/training-events. Each family participating will receive a free Citizen Preparedness Corps Response Starter Kit.

Congressional Town Hall with Congressman Nadler

Congressman Jerrold Nadler will be hosting a Congressional Town Hall Meeting in Conjunction with Borough of Manhattan Community College (BMCC) on Tuesday, October 9 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm in the BMCC TriBeCa Performing Arts Center at 199 Chambers Street ( located between Greenwich & West Street on the BMCC campus).
