Know It Before You Throw It

The Michigan Department of Environment, Great Lakes and Energy (formerly DEQ) has launched a new educational campaign to help boost and clean up recycling in Michigan. The Know It Before You Throw It campaign is part of a $15 million investment into new recycling efforts that was approved by lawmakers and Gov. Rick Snyder in 2018.
