Dear Reader,
I had the pleasure of attending the Northern California Independent Booksellers' Association trade show last week and had you in mind. There were so many great books, talks by authors, and connecting with other booksellers that it was a total shot in the arm for me.
I have a lot of ideas for how to better serve your book needs from the mysterious, but very real place called online.
I have a stack of books to read and review, including cookbooks and children's titles, that I'm excited to share with you.

The website is fully functional for ordering books, downloading ebooks and audiobooks, and will have a new look and new features very soon. It's fun working on it with bringing you wonderful books in mind.

So thank you for sticking with me. I'm ironing out little bugs every day- luckily they're mostly different ways to do things rather than problems.
And very soon I'll have listings up for the books I still have and can offer at a discount and delivery to Cafe Santana in the Laurel district again.

Feel free to email me with questions, searches, recommendations and the like. I'm a real person, well, as real as I was before the physical store closed. And I'm happy to chat about books.

Take care of each other,

Dare to Lead by Brene Brown

First it was I Thought It Was Just Me, then it was The Gift of Imperfection, then Daring Greatly, then Rising Strong, now Dare to Lead. I sense a progression from this incredible author, thinker, social scientist, TED talk veteran, and all around amazingly compassionate person.
Are you ready to lead with your whole heart, scary as that might be?
