THANK YOU to all who contacted the House Criminal Justice Committee to ask them to vote no on three abortion bills. Last week, they were all defeated! We are so thankful to our pro-life legislators that stood for life!

NOW we need your help to pass SB 276 by Sen. Thomas Pressly. Please scroll down to read our full investigative report on the abortion pill crisis!

The legislation creates a new crime to hold accountable those individuals that attempt to poison women and girls with abortion-inducing drugs. It also adds important measures to stop the dangerous spread of abortion pills. We expect SB 276 to be considered as early as tomorrow, May 16th, in the Louisiana House of Representatives.

Sen. Pressly was inspired to author the legislation after his sister, Catherine Herring, was poisoned by her former husband with abortion drugs to kill his unborn daughter.

Louisiana Right to Life has released the report "The Rampant Abuse of Abortion Pills in Louisiana" showing how online abortion-pill distributors are out of control! It is very easy for these drugs to get in the hands of minors, sex traffickers or abusive partners. Distributors are even selling these pills in bulk and to statutory rape victims!

In one incidence, a distributor said they will provide a minor in Louisiana with abortion pills even though she is 21-weeks pregnant! This is far past the 10-week limit the FDA says is "safe" for use.

She was then told to "bury/dispose" of the body and that the experience would be much like "giving birth"!
