According to the report, the AHSC program has already brought about 15,324 new affordable homes and reduced 4.4 million metric tons of GHG emissions across California. The program invested $2.5 billion in 164 catalytic affordable housing developments in its first six rounds since 2015. These developments integrate housing and transportation with greenhouse gas reducing infrastructure and amenities supporting sustainable, connected, vibrant neighborhoods.
