Gabriella Marquez, Alissa Holmes, and Josie Rodriguez were sworn in as HCC's 2023-2024 Student Government Association officers at the October Board of Trustees meeting. When you see them around campus, take a moment to congratulate them and find out more about how they will enhance HCC's Student-Life experience.

Industry and Nursing Open Houses

Learn more about a variety of hands-on career paths and tour the labs. Learn more about Industrial Systems Technology and Computer-Integrated Machining November 8, 5-8 p.m., at the High Tech Center in Waynesville. A similar event for Nursing Careers is scheduled for November 17, 9 a.m.-1 p.m., at the new Health Sciences Education Building on main campus.

Club spotlight: Phi Theta Kappa

Ever wonder what PTK stands for? It’s more than just initials with this student club! From volunteerism and supportive events, this club is one that spans many colleges. Hear from two members of this club and their club advisor (a PTK alum herself) about why this group is so supportive and why it’s important to try something new.

HCC students and employees are invited to participate in a monthly guided art session. No experience or supplies are necessary, and you will leave with your own unique artwork. Sign up for the November 1 session
