Women's Yoga ~ A Life of Grace
with Ixeeya Lin Beacher
Thursday February 5th 5:45 - 6:45

Do you long for physical practice that attends to the uniqueness of the female body?  That values sensitivity and sensuality as part of our body-intelligence and strength as women?

Join Ixeeya Lin, long time practitioner and guide of women's embodiment and yoga, for a 1 hour discussion, Q&A, and asana practice with meditation.  Women of all ages and abilities welcome.

Ixeeya Beacher has studied devotional and karma yoga in India, Figi and across the US, including Barata Natyam, the original "yoga dance" of the temples of Southern India.  Trained in yoga therapies and sacred sexual yoga, she found her teacher Sofia Diaz in 1999. For a decade she practiced deeply in sacred community with Diaz's Teachings of Lasya Yoga and Womens spiritual practice. With her blessings, Ixeeya brought yoga to the public schools, nursing homes, village outreach programs and disabled community day programs. She offers yoga and dance teachings, womens circles and leadership trainings. She has a private shamanic bodywork practice that focuses on feminine restoration through the womb center.  "I guide others in yoga as an extension and continuation of my daily yoga and sacred dance practice, a life practice of grace, feeling, service and gratitude."
