Talent Show 🎤

📅 Date: Friday, April 25th

🕐 Time: 4:30 PM to 6:30 PM

📍 Location: The New School Playing Field

We know that there are so many talented children and families here at the school! Here's your chance to shine like a star. Whether you're a comedian, poet, actor, dancer, magician, or any other type of performer, we want YOU to take the stage in this year's annual talent show! Children can perform solo or with their friends or family members. It's all about having fun!

We also need an amazing audience to cheer on our performers. So please invite family and friends, bring along a blanket or a lawn chair (and maybe a few snacks), and join us on the main playing field to enjoy our performers on Friday, April 25th.

Performers need to be 4yrs or older and supply all props, materials, preview of songs they will be singing, or any other relevant details for performances. TNS will supply microphone and speakers. All acts should be no more than 3-5 minutes long.

We are advertising this event early so your super stars can begin their rehearsals and plan ahead!

Please email lori@montessoricenter.org & art@montessoricenter.org with any questions.

🌸 Legacy MAP Project: Vermiculture 🌱

A Note from our MAP Students:

Our MAP Classroom is dedicating their 8th grade legacy project to Vermiculture this year. Vermiculture is a special way of composting that uses Red Wiggler worms. The worms eat organic matter, and then their waste becomes soft and nutrient rich soil. The MAP students will be working with each of our classrooms to set up a small composting bin to utilize daily.

The MAP students will also help educate the younger students on the process and its benefits. If the project is successful, the classrooms will use it in multiple ways to benefit our gardens and flowerbeds around campus and we will even be able to sell some to local businesses and families! If you would like to help with supplies towards this project, please use the links below! Your contributions are greatly appreciated!
