SAFETY MOMENT - HIKING
Hiking is a great way to spend your time in the outdoors. It’s also a good way to get your heart pumping for some exercise or to test your limits. Some hikes are just a few hundred feet while others are many miles, but all can pose potential hazards if not carefully considered. Take some time to research your destination and its terrain so you can better prepare to have a memorable experience and fun while exploring. CLICK HERE FOR MORE.
Scouts and their parents expect all Boy Scouts of America activities to be conducted safely. To ensure the safety of participants, the Boy Scouts of America expects leaders to use the four points of SAFE when delivering the Scouting program.

This one-hour service will commemorate Memorial Day with music, spoken word, and silent reverence. It will also honor the more than 100 veterans from Derby and Shelton who have died in the past year. Their names will be read and their next of kin will be presented with a carnation.
The public is welcome and encouraged to attend.
