Season 2 Premieres
with author, Liz Long

Season Two of Write Around the Corner, our local program sharing the work of Virginia writers and hosted by Rose Martin, kicks off tonight at 7:30 p.m. Liz Long, editor at The Roanoker Magazine and a USA Today bestselling author of Young Adult and urban fantasy, gets us started.

This second season has an exciting line-up planned! Tune-in each week to see fabulous, award-winning local writers and hear them read a passage of their book. We’re covering crime, intrigue, Appalachian stories, WWII, personal memoirs, and tips from the Domestic Diva herself! Joining us for our second season include Betsy Ashton, Diane Fanning, James Morrison, Mary Carter Bishop, Leah Weiss, Krista Davis, and more!

Creative Virginia
On this latest edition of Creative Virginia, we visit with leatherworker, Henry Bryant of Elliston. Henry specializes in 18 th -century leatherwork for historic war re-enactors, and history museums, but he also creates modern day items using the same 18 th -century methods of construction.

Relive the magic of George Gershwin's 1928 composition "An American in Paris," which he described as an extended symphonic tone poem. This new Broadway production was recorded in 2017 in London with original stars Robert Fairchild and Leanne Cope.
