Seller Concession Fields in Bright MLS: Learn to Use Them Here



Register for a webinar with Bright MLS to learn how to use the new seller concessions fields. Bright has added new optional fields for seller concessions to assist you in communicating what sellers are willing to negotiate to pay towards closing costs.

The webinars will review the Seller Concession fields and how you can view them on listings in Search. Bright will also review the new MLS Disclosures form, which is now available. There are a number of dates and times in June / early July to choose your webinar.

Escape to the Grounds for Sculpture with the WCR this Friday Afternoon

Join the Women's Council of REALTORS® (WCR) on Friday, June 21st at the Grounds for Sculpture in Hamilton, NJ from noon to 3:00 pm.

Attendees of the event aptly titled "Summer Escape" will get a gourmet bagged lunch, guided group tours of the grounds, a silent auction, and door prizes.

Ticket prices are $40 for WCR members and $50 for non-WCR members. The event is a fundraiser for David's Dream & Believe Cancer Foundation and the Lawrenceville Community Gardens.

VA Home Buyers Will Be Able to Compensate Agents Directly



The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) officially announced a temporary policy allowing VA home buyers to compensate their real estate agent directly. The department says it will determine whether a formal rulemaking process is necessary.

Under this temporary policy, “eligible veterans, active-duty service members and surviving spouses who use their VA home loan benefits can pay for certain real estate buyer broker fees when purchasing a home,” the VA said in a statement.
