In this two-episode launch, Dean Harrison explores what health equity means with President and CEO of Black Health Shirley Torho, and sits down with Nursing faculty leaders Darcel Reyes and Natasha Nurse-Clarke to discuss important tools for RSV, Flu, COVID-19, and Asthma prevention.

Woodie King, Jr., B.A. '96, Honorary Degree '08

Woodie King Jr Receiving Honorary Degree

Lehman remembers alumnus Woodie King Jr., founder of the New Federal Theatre in 1970, who earned his B.A. in Theatre and Black Studies at Lehman in 1996. Under his leadership, the New Federal Theatre served as an incubator for groundbreaking works and became a vital platform for Black playwrights, directors, and performers, launching the career of actors such as Denzel Washington, Phylicia Rashad, and Chadwick Boseman.
