Admissions: This course will have a formal admission process including entrance testing and an interview. Entrance testing will occur the week of May 6th and interviews will be held the following week. There are no pre-requisite courses required to enter the admissions process, however candidates must be currently licensed as a NM EMT-Basic or NM EMT-Intermediate at the time of entrance testing.

Details: The course will start August 12th, 2019 and run for approximately 10 months. It will be held Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays from 0800-1700, and will include some online components. The online components will be in lieu of classroom time for the first 5 weeks and supplemental the remainder of the course. The course will be located at the UNM EMS Academy in Albuquerque.

Cost: Tuition for the entire program is $8500 and includes tuition, course fees, books, parking and uniform shirts. National Registry testing is not included.
