4-H Government Day at Kane County Government Campus

For the past 29 years, 4-H Government Day has given 4-H teens an opportunity to “shadow” public officials for a day and this week, 24 teens had the chance to spend a portion of the day with Kane County staff, leaders and Board members.

First Sneaker Sale at Kane County Fairgrounds to Feature Rare Finds

Sneakerheads take note: the Kane County Fairgrounds will be hosting its first semi-annual Sneaker Show and Sale on March 18 at the Kane County Fairgrounds. The event will be held from noon - 6 p.m. and the public is invited to buy, sell and trade sneakers. READ MORE

Steel Beam Theatre Presents Comedy

The Steel Beam Theatre in St. Charles presents the Tony-award winning comedy 'The 39 Steps.' The play runs through April 2 and discounts are available for students and seniors. READ MORE

Gilberts Pancake Breakfast and Easter Egg Hunt

A pancake breakfast followed by the annual Easter Egg Hunt will be held April 1 in the Village of Gilberts. Breakfast starts at 9 a.m. followed by the free Easter Egg Hunt for kids 10 and under. Please bring your own basket or bag for collecting eggs. READ MORE

Veterans Outreach Event March 21

The Hines VA Hospital and the City of Aurora will host a Veterans Outreach Event on March 21 from 11 a.m. - 2 p.m. at Aurora City Hall. The event will provide information about health care benefits, available resources and give veterans the chance to meet with local organizations. READ MORE
