THE PLAY THAT GOES WRONG
Opens This Weekend!
Written By Henry Lewis, Jonathan Sayer and Henry Shields
Directed by Connie Mockenhaupt

The time is right to see THE PLAY THAT GOES WRONG, Broadway’s funniest smash hit! This Olivier Award-winning comedy is a hilarious hybrid of Monty Python and Sherlock Holmes. Welcome to opening night of The Murder at Haversham Manor where things are quickly going from bad to utterly disastrous. With an unconscious leading lady, a corpse that can’t play dead, and actors who trip over everything (including their lines), it’s “A RIOTOUS EXPLOSION OF COMEDY!” (The Daily Beast) and “TONS OF FUN FOR ALL AGES!” (HuffPost). Ben Brantley of The New York Times calls THE PLAY THAT GOES WRONG “A GUT-BUSTING HIT,” and Cindy Adams of the New York Post has just one word for you: “GO!” Get tickets now – it would be WRONG to wait!

“COMIC GOLD!” – Variety

SARAH PLAIN AND TALL
Opens May 7
Adapted by Joseph Robinette
From Patricia MacLachlan's Newberry Award-winning Book
Directed by Allen Schmeltz

Set in the early 1900s, this play brings to life the charming, heartwarming story of a Kansas farmer, Jacob Witting, a widower with two children—Anna and Caleb, who places an ad in the newspapers seeking a wife. He receives a letter from a Sarah Wheaton of Maine who says she will visit the family for a month to see how things work out: “I will come by train. I will wear a yellow bonnet. I am plain and tall.” Narrated by Anna reminiscing on the eve of her wedding, the story unfolds in a fascinating flashback on that often exciting, sometimes tumultuous month when Sarah and the Wittings came to know one another and learned a few things about themselves as well. The joys and challenges of everyday life are richly depicted in this classic which the New York Times called “an exquisite, sometimes painfully touching tale.”

The School Library Journal said the book “is filled with wisdom and gentle humor…a tender story about the fragile beginnings of a family relationship on its way to permanence.”

May 7 – May 29

THE ADVENTURES OF SUPERBUNNY
The Next Two Weekends! Fun for the kids!
All of the vegetables in New York City have strangely disappeared. The police have no leads in the case, so it is up to Thumperino Superbunny to solve the crime. Along the way he meets a cast of local characters and tangles with the evil villain Dr. Nilch and his robot henchmen. The Adventures of Superbunny educates on healthy eating, environmental awareness, consequences for one’s actions, self-motivation, courage, and confidence.

April 22 – May 1
