Beverly and I are heading to Big Sur for a couple nights this week so the shop is closed on both Tuesday and Wednesday this week (Nov 5 & 6). I'm looking forward to relaxing with my latest projects, the Aurea Sweater from Noro Magazine Issue 25 and a new California Poppies beanie using the new Smirligans DK yarn.

I finished my Carina Cowl this weekend and am excited to teach the colorwork class for this cowl next Monday Nov 11th. There's still room in the class and time to sign up. I even have enough yarn left to start doodling!

Wool & Tincture Yarn Dyeing Demonstration

Join me in the shop parking lot on Sunday November 17th from 2 - 4 PM for a demonstration of the simplest way to dye wool! Wool Tincture Dyes are pre-measured acid dyes in a tea bag, so there’s no mixing or measuring involved.

And if you purchase your own supplies, you can try out your yarn dyeing skills with me!

This event is FREE and does NOT require advance sign-up.

Online - Fixing Mistakes & Other Classes

The Colorwork Cowl class takes place on Mondays November 11th & 18th from 4:15 - 5:45PM at the shop, followed by an Online version of Fixing Mistakes in Knitting on December 3rd & 10th.

Help is Available...Every Friday and Sunday

Join us for our new Stitching Help Desk Sessions where you can bring your project, join others and work along with the assistance of one of our knowledgeable staff members. 

This is a communal help desk so plan on spending the hour learning with others and starting to enjoy your project again! Help Desk sessions are every Friday and Sunday from 12 - 1PM. Friday sessions are for knitting and crochet support. Sunday sessions are for knitting support only.

Sign up in advance or just show up in the store.
