Happy 25th Anniversary
The Clean Cities program was created in 1993 by the Department of Energy. The Southeast Florida Coalition was designated on May 5th, 1994. In celebration, we are announcing a new membership structure and benefit tiers so we can continue to grow the coalition. Here's to another 25 years of collaboration with our local partners!
Where Have We Been?
To ring in the second half of 2019, we are introducing new membership tiers and benefit packages. The membership structure and benefits haven't been updated in several years, and we felt the coalition needed to keep pace with the rapid changes occurring in the alternative fuels space.

Chair Patricia Asseff
I am delighted to serve as the Chairperson of the Southeast Florida Clean Cities Coalition. Our Coalition is a hybrid of the private sector businesses ranging from mom and pops to some of the largest corporations and public utilities in the country.

The Southeast Florida Clean Cities Coalition embraces the diversity of Southeast Florida’s alternative fuel and advanced technology options that are emerging daily.

The Southeast Florida Clean Cities Coalition has been in existence for over 25 years! Come talk, discuss and work with us, perhaps show us what your company or agency is up to. You will find that our discussions are lively. We meet monthly, and have many scheduled events such as workshops, seminars and conferences.

Together we will continue to transform Southeast Florida and lead the State of Florida in reducing its dependency on petroleum.”
Welcome Our New Clean Cities Coordinator
Mark-Anthony Smith is the South Florida Regional Planning Council’s new Southeast Florida Clean Cities Coalition Coordinator. He believes that moving auto fleets to alternative energy and improving alternative energy infrastructure in the region is critical for effectively addressing environmental quality, quality of life, health outcomes, and cost savings for people in the public, private, and non-profit sectors.

He is joined by Allyson Williams, a Master of Science in Urban & Regional Planning candidate at University of Central Florida.
