Episcopal Relief & Development’s ONE THOUSAND DAYS OF LOVE Campaign Meets Goal

Thanks to individuals, congregations, and dioceses across The Episcopal Church and the Anglican Communion, Episcopal Relief & Development’s ONE THOUSAND DAYS OF LOVE campaign has met its goal of raising $3 million to support children worldwide.
2022 Annual Convention Registration

Registration Information was issued by email to all clergy and lay annual convention delegates on file, Thursday, September 7, 2022. At the link below you’ll find information and links to help you prepare, including instructions for registration, hotel accommodation, and a link to information and resources. This year’s annual convention will be a Hybrid Convention, allowing participants the option to attend in-person or online.

Note: The deadline for reports and nominations is today. The deadline for registration and resolutions to be submitted is October 7.

Two locations, one workshop. Saturday, September 24, 2022, 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. Church of the Good Shepherd, Kansas City and St. John’s Episcopal Church, Springfield.
Places are limited.
On Saturday, October 1, 2022, at 10:30 a.m., God willing, Vicky Lyn Anderson, Adam Anthony James, and Barbara J. Wegener will be ordained into the Sacred Order of Deacons. You are invited to join them at St. Andrew's Episcopal Church, Kansas City, or watch live online.

Un-Muted; The Silent Voices of Social Genocide

Wednesday, September 21, 6 p.m.
In-person at Grace & Holy Trinity Cathedral, Kansas City, Missouri.

This exhibit and presentation is a powerful and moving visual experience of an extremely harsh reality happening in Türkiye (formerly known as Turkey) at this time.
Solemn Requiem Mass

On Saturday, September 24 at 10 a.m., a requiem mass will be sung for Her Late Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, Defender of the Faith and Supreme Governor of the Church of England, at St. Mary's Episcopal Church, Kansas City. All are welcome.
Landscapes of the Sacred

When: Saturday, September 24, 2022 . 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. Online

With the help of Belden Lane’s book Landscapes of the Sacred, we will look at the relationship between sacred, or ‘mystical’ experiences in the context of the places where they occur.
