Summer Series Continues
SUN 9 & 10:45AM
Plead My Cause
Scripture: Psalm 153-160 Rev. Nate Powell
The Resh stanza is one of the most concentrated calls for God's intervention in the psalm. The psalmist pleads: look at my affliction, plead my cause, redeem me, give me life. But his plea is grounded entirely in God's Word: "Many are my persecutors and my adversaries, but I do not swerve from your testimonies" (v. 157). The Word is not just what he holds, it's his argument before God.
