Save the Date – Wednesday, August 10

Dear CVCA Students and Parents,

We are excited to begin a new school year with you at our New Student/Parent Orientation on Wednesday, August 10 for all new students and their families! Please plan to attend:

JUMPSTART & IGNITION MEETINGS: 5:45-6:15 p.m. – ALL 6th graders, 7th graders, and their parents should arrive at 5:45 p.m. for Ignition and Jumpstart retreat meetings.

ORIENTATION: 6:30 p.m. – All NEW middle school and high school students (grades 6-12) and their parents should attend.

As you prepare for Orientation, please be sure to spend some time reviewing the New Student page or MY CVCA page of our website. Some of the most important links are listed below:

Here are a few things you can expect at Orientation:

Worship and Dedication time
Pick up Chromebooks
Walk student class schedules
Set up locker and put supplies away
Meet some teachers
Purchase CVCA apparel
Speak with the Athletic Office staff
Meet other new families
Q & A

Class schedules will be available for download in your RENWEB Family Portal account by August 8. (You will receive an email when they are posted.) Your student will need to print a copy of his/her schedule and bring it with them on August 10. If you are unable to schedule classes prior to orientation, a sample schedule will be provided for your student to follow.

Our hope is that these resources and this event will help students feel both prepared and excited for the first week of classes. This is also a great time to meet new students and their families! We can’t wait to have you here!
