Brand Refresh, Same Company
|
|
Here at Carter Engineering, we've had quite a busy first half of 2022. Our civil engineering, landscape architecture, and surveying teams have been hard at work on countless projects - from quick service restaurants to residential developments to large commercial and industrial sites and everything in between. We're tackling more projects every single day.
2022 has also been a very positive year of change for our company. We've added several new folks, including a new land survey manager - and we've refreshed our company's brand. I hope you like our new logo, new brand, and our new website (carterengineering.com). Feel free to stop by the office anytime for some free swag with our new design, too.
We feel this refresh will benefit our team and the continued success of our company. We pride ourselves on being large enough to take on any project, but small enough to where every client is dealing with one of our partners. We plan to never change that.
We are going to begin sending email updates to our clients and contacts a few times a year to tell you what we're seeing in the market and what is new with our company. We won't spam your inbox, but did want to put you on our list. If you would like to unsubscribe, please feel free to do so at the bottom of this email.
Thank you for your friendship of Carter Engineering. As always, if we can be of service, please call on us anytime.

Here at Carter, we are proud to introduce our our new land survey manager, Mike Foley (Professional Land Surveyor #3346). Mike comes to us from Gaskins and LeCraw where he was the Lawrenceville branch manager. Mike oversaw five crews doing ALTA, Topographic, Boundary, and As-Builts surveys. Previously, Mike was the Survey Chief at Hayes James & Associates. Mike is a veteran and lives in Winder.
Welcome, Mike! We're thrilled to have you on our team.

With rising interest rates and uncertainty in the markets, we're constantly watching what is happening on the ground. In the commercial and residential space, we're seeing the vast majority of developments continue moving forward with the recognition that an audible may be needed. While there is uncertainty, there is also opportunity. We understand these uncertain times can mean a quick change in plans - and we're prepared for that.

Project Highlight: Chimney Oaks
|
Each quarter, we will highlight one of our ongoing or recent projects, and this time, we're excited to showcase Chimney Oaks Golf Club in northeast Georgia. Carter Engineering has been pleased to work on Chimney Oaks - including designing the clubhouse, private roads, additional club facilities and the single and multi-family housing associated with the club. We were proud to oversee the civil engineering design, landscape architecture and land surveying.
CEC began working with Chimney Oaks in 2018 with the construction of the wedding venue/event center. Since then, Chimney Oaks Golf has partnered with us to complete a variety of projects and developments including: new Fitness Center and Pro Shop, renovation to the practice putting and chipping greens, the Forge (indoor training and club fitting facility), Phase 3B subdivision (68 cottage lots), Sweet Briar Way Road (30 cottage lots), Townhomes Phase I (31 units), and Townhomes Phase II (29 units – beginning phases of construction). Carter Engineering has several future projects planned with Chimney Oaks that are under initial development.
The golf course is 367 acres total, and we have assisted in developing over 47 acres.
