New TWIA Certification Training Available!! Greetings!   Texas Windstorm Insurance Association has partnered with 2021 Training to provide online adjuster certification courses (http://2021training.com/twia/). Two courses are currently offered, TWIA Residential Adjuster Certification and TWIA Residential/Commercial Adjuster Certification. Residential Adjuster Certification (Course #91718) This certification is required to adjust residential claims for TWIA. This is an annual certification. Successful completion of this course offers 3 general Texas continuing education credit hours at a cost of only $50. Residential/ Commercial Adjuster Certification (Course #91717) This certification is required to adjust residential, commercial, and complex claims for TWIA. Complex claims include multiple location losses and condos. This is the same course as the Residential Adjuster Certification with the addition of commercial and complex. This is an annual certification. Successful completion of this course offers 4 general Texas continuing education credit hours at a cost of only $55. Adjusters will need to have these certifications prior to adjusting any claims for TWIA. TWIA is registered with the Texas Department of Insurance for CE credits. These licenses renew annually which is a recent change. Certifications will be valid for one year from the date of completion. Adjusters do not need both certifications. They must select the appropriate one for the type of claims they will be adjusting. Please advise your adjusters of any additional requirements you may have regarding TWIA certification.
