Three New Types of Tech Coaching Programs

Our Tech Coaching is now offered in the following three session formats.

Examples of popular learning topics include: device setup and troubleshooting, email and text basics, exploring apps, online security, and file management.

1. One-on-One Coaching

A personalized, 45‑minute session with a library staff member focused on helping you with your basic tech questions. These appointments are ideal if you prefer individual support or have a specific task you want to learn.

Every second Monday of the month

Private pod at the Library

2. Group Tech Help

A relaxed, small‑group learning environment where participants explore a general tech topic together. Each session includes a short overview, practical tips, and time for questions so everyone can learn from shared experiences.

Every third Monday of the month

Community Meeting Room at the Library

3. Outreach

We bring tech help into the community by visiting local partner locations. These sessions work just like one‑on‑one coaching but take place where residents already gather. No registration necessary.

Every first and fourth Monday of the month

Rotating between the 55 Activity Centre and Westwinds (open to all attendees), or Hilltop House (residents only)

SEED LIBRARY

With the arrival of Spring and our upcoming Container Gardening Year-Round event with Squamish Climate Action Network (CAN), it's a great time to be trying out our Seed Library!

The Seed Library is a collection of vegetable, flower, and herb seeds for community members like you to use. If you grow the seeds you take, you can choose to return seeds to the Library for others to plant next year!

Created by Squamish CAN, the Seed Library is a self-service resource that includes all the information you need to get started. Find it across from the front desk, next to the board games section.
