The First Image Analysis Software Specifically
for Factory Automation
Cognex ViDi Suite is the first image analysis software designed specifically for factory automation. ViDi solves complex applications that are too difficult, tedious, or expensive for traditional machine vision systems. Compared to traditional machine vision, ViDi is better designed for hard-to-solve applications, is easier to configure, and tolerates variations better. The Suite consists of 4 different tools: Locate, Analyze, Classify, and Read. A breakthrough in complex inspection, part location, classification, and OCR, ViDi is ideal for:
  • Defect detection
  • Texture and material classification
  • Assembly verification and deformed part location
  • Character reading, including distorted print

Our ViDi Deep Learning Suite class gives students an introduction to the first ready-to-use deep learning-based software dedicated to industrial image analysis. Students will learn about all 4 of the ViDi tools: Red (Analyze), Blue (Locate), Blue (Read), and Green (Classify), and more.
