PREPARING FOR WORSHIP

Pastor Trudy's Message

The message this week: We will hear a story where water is a main character...well, water used by God. It is a tool of both destruction and salvation. Maybe this feels and sounds different when we are watching a hurricane moving across Cuba to Florida after seeing the devastation in Puerto Rico and Canada from the last storm. Or maybe there are other kinds of storms in your life and you are feeling the destruction part full force and aren't yet at the salvation part. Either way, our wisdom from Romans, 'suffering produces endurance,' can help us to frame the storms in a way that invites us to live differently, storms or not.

Mighty God, all things are in Your hands and You are always with us. When it feels like all hope is lost and we can't see the path forward, help us to be still to hear You. In the name of the One who calmed the waters, Jesus Christ, our Savior, Amen.

GLC FACES OF FAITH

It was cozy! The 11 three-year-olds and their parents, along with the rest of the Sunday schoolers scrunched in for the Bible presentation!

Cindy Yeo and Sandi Bowgren packed the GLC donations in to Cindy's car and delivered all to Mutual Ground. Grateful for the opportunity to serve our mission partner in this way. #generouslifeinChrist

Vicar and her Squad (intern committee) met for their monthly check in. #generouslifeinChrist
