New Temple Project Fundraising
Paduku Puja in Maryland
"Sadaa nimba vrikshasya mooladhivaasaat, Sudhaasravinam tiktamapya priyantam, Tarum kalpa vrikshaadhikam saadhayantam, Namameeswaram Sadgurum Sainaatham."
"Sada satswarupam chida-nandakandam,
Jagat sambhava sthana sanhar hetum,
Swabhakte-chhaya manusham darshayantam, Namameeswaram Sadgurum Sainaatham"
Let us bow down to the God Sadguru Sainath who, By His constant abode under the margosa tree, whose juice though by nature is bitter and distasteful, has turned it nectar-like sweet, because He has exalted the tree above the legendary
kalpavriksh
(the wish fulfilling tree).

Story of the Silver Padukas
SILVER PADUKA STORY OF SUNDARAMMA - Origin of Padukas
Mr. Koteswararao and his wife Balatripura Sundari(Ullaganti-last name) were living in Manmad, Maharastra-India. They used to go to Shirdi often. One time around 1914 Sai Baba gave them a crystal Sivalingam and SILVER Padukas. Mr. Koteswara Rao passed away in 1964.
Afterwards Mrs. Sundaramma came to Puttaparthi along with some devotees of Sathya Sai Baba and was living there in an apartment in East Prasanthi-2nd floor; where she lived till her last breath December 31st 2004.
Before her passing, Sri Panduranga Rao and Smt. Mahalakshmi Malyala
were in Puttaparthi for the construction of a Vedapatasala. The couple would go to Sundaramma's apartment for darshan of Sai Baba and spent a considerable amount of time with her. Baba ordered to render the last rites of Sundaramma by Sri Panduranga Malyala. On January 1st 2005 Sri Panduranga Malyala got a message from Sai Baba to take the silver padukas and was instructed to do paduka puja everyday. The padukas are in the Shirdi Sai Baba Temple of Pittsburgh where devotees can pray.
BOW TO SAI - PEACE BE TO ALL.

FEEDING THE HUNGRY
The Greatest Gift
Sai Ram. The Vedas proclaim that there is no greater charity than annadanam, the gift of food and water to the hungry and thirsty. Annadanam bestows great merit on the giver. Why is this? Because food and water are universal necessities. Whether we are a man, an ant, or an elephant, everyone needs food and water.
For the last thirty years, Sri Shirdi Sai Baba Temple, Pittsburgh, has been conducting annadanam in India. The Temple has supplied tens of thousands of free meals each year to the needy. This year, the Temple hopes to supply 50,000 free meals in rural India. These are delicious, nutritious meals provided to local villagers, many of whom are elderly, young, or otherwise unable to always procure enough food. A typical meal consists of a large helping of rice, dahl, a vegetable dish, and a sweet. Everyone is served until they are satisfied!
Fortunately, in rural India, it is still relatively inexpensive to create these meals. For about one dollar, two meals can be served. So a gift of $100 pays for approximately two hundred meals! Of course, with inflation, this will become a distant memory in the near future. But the opportunity is still there. We kindly ask your donation of any amount to help the needy.
