Are you a member of the team providing Differentiated Literacy Instruction (DLI) at your program? A Deeper Dive into DLI offers both new and veteran instructors the opportunity to add to their literacy strategies’ toolbox, as well as the chance to address some common challenges related to DLI.

Fall Testing Window Reminder


The Fall pre-test window is just around the corner. All Rising K-Grade 5 children test within 30 days of first attendance using beginning of the year benchmarks. If you are testing with the ORF, make sure you use the "Fall" form.


New ORF and Maze Forms Now Available!


The new ORF and Maze forms are now available on the Resources page in Trust Academy LMS as of the beginning of August. Please download, print, and use these forms only. Forms from before August 2025 are no longer in use and should not be used for testing.

Get Your FCCPC School-Age Credential for Free with ELC and CCEI *

The Early Learning Coalition of Miami-Dade/Monroe (ELC) and ChildCare Education Institute (CCEI) are partnering to help ECE educators who work with children 5-12 to get their Florida FCCPS School-Age Credential. The School-Age Credential Program is fully on-line, self-paced, and includes continuous guidance and coaching support. Educators may qualify to get the credential at no-cost.

Catalyst Miami Recruiting for CLEAR and LIGHT Programs *

CLEAR: Community Leadership on the Environment, Advocacy, and Resilience


Miami is ground zero for climate change threats and housing unaffordability–each year record breaking heat temps, increasing utility prices, climate gentrification, new developments displacing longtime residents... BUT, together the community can make lasting change for the most pressing issues!


The 10-week CLEAR program provides participants with the groundwork to become climate justice educators, leaders, and innovators in their own communities and beyond. Participants will develop a deep and intersectional understanding of climate science, local climate change threats, and solutions.


Dates: Tuesdays - August 26- October 28, Times: 6 - 9 p.m.

Free Training in Fundamentals of Child and Adolescent Cognitive Behavior

The CAMAT program at the University of Miami is offering a 10-week, 10-hour live virtual training series, called Fundamental of Child CBT: An Introduction to the Unified Protocol for Transdiagnostic Treatment of Emotional Disorders in Children and Adolescents (UP-C and UP-A). This series will provide comprehensive training in the fundamentals of evidence-based cognitive-behavioral therapy for youth anxiety and depression.


Through a generous gift from the Batchelor Foundation, the program is offering FREE registration to currently enrolled graduate students/trainees in a mental health-related field, postdoctoral fellows, and mental health professionals currently serving in Palm Beach, Broward, Miami-Dade, and Monroe Counties, Florida. Continuing education (CE) credits are also offered to South Florida-based providers who attend live sessions at no cost.


Sessions will be conducted via Zoom every Friday from noon to 1 p.m., beginning September 5 through November 14.

Performing Arts Funding Grant Program

ETC supports the arts throughout the United States by awarding cash grants to non-profit performance groups. Grants are modest and limited to a maximum of $5,000 in order to distribute funding to a greater number of worthy organizations. Preference is given to organizations producing their own work rather than to hosting venues. Applying and meeting qualifications does not guarantee an award. The Committee typically receives many more applications than can be funded. ETC may partially fund any application at its discretion.


Eligibility Requirements:

To apply for funding, applicants must be based in the United States and meet one of the following:

A 501(c)(3) non-profit residing in the United States. Accredited public or private school/university residing in the United States. Florida Foster Care Review (FFCR) advances the safety, stability and success of youth and young adults involved in Miami-Dade’s dependency system by connecting them to essential services, healthy relationships and forever families.
